“First alone, then I started involving my son Primo, finally my wife Kim and my brother Andrea. I photographed stories of war, magic, abandonment, and slowly, unconsciously, I found myself repeating what I did as a boy in that place, hiding in my imaginary worlds and inventing stories.”
