Paessaggi - Alessando Dandini de Sylva

35.00

“Paesaggi” is a collection of photographic experiments. Alessandro Dandini intervenes polaroid to draw abstract landscapes out of light. Dandini de Sylva, using a '70s Polaroid camera, breaks in the chemical process of developing the image, either by interrupting or by overlapping the impression and calibrating all operations in view of the irreversibility of each action.

The resulting images look like watercolors, bringing ambiguity on the nature of the process. Inspired by music and the passing of a day, the book presents the 'photographs' as a hearth circle around the sun. Gianni Garrera's' text explores link these surprising images to notions of harmony and knowledge..
